|Ladean Cross has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner in the Castle Rock community for more than 18 years. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1976 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing. She spent the next several years working as an ER nurse in the Colorado and Wyoming. In 1980, she returned to school at the University of Colorado and earned her Advanced Nursing Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She moved to Sedalia in 1988 and was working in Castle Rock within the year. In 2004, she earned her Master of Science Nursing degree from the University of Colorado.
In her years in Castle Rock, Ladean has developed a reputation as a caring, highly competent health care provider. Her relationship with her patients is the envy of all providers that have worked with her. While working in a group of 85 providers, 95% of whom where physicians, she was routinely ranked in the top 5 providers. She has a close and respectful relationship with a wide variety of specialists in the Denver area.
Ladean has a lifetime commitment to service. She has been a volunteer firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician since 1988. She was the medical officer for a local fire department for more than 10 years. She is a member of the US DHHS National Medical Response Team - Central (NMRT-C). She was deployed to both Texas and Louisiana in the aftermath of hurricanes Rita and Katrina in the fall of 2005.
